When trying save data to a networked database, an error appears and prevents the operation. 

The error reads:  External Exception Error EEFFACE

The problem is caused primarily by an intermittent loss of network connectivity during testing.  The Tracker™ 5 software loses its connection to the database and is unable to resume the connection properly when the user attempts to write to the database.

If the network is wireless, consider connecting a network cable to see if the situation improves.

Consider placing the database on the local computer on a trial basis to see if the situation improves.
